Fear

Fear is dark grey, black and navy
You can see people cowering in their homes and houses staring at you with hatred.
You can hear high pitched screams and animals growling in the distance.
You can smell sad salty tears and smoke pouring out of windows and doors.
You can see a tornado of fear whistling through the air.
You can taste mouldy old fruit and stale dry biscuits.
Fear is terrible!

  1. This is a very good poem because it shows lots of verbs to describe fear and nice work for involving the five senses it gives it a touch. Next time try to add a simile.

  2. The metaphor helps finish off the poem and the strong adjectives help show a clear picture in our head.

Maybe next time add the sense taste?
